River Metals Recycling Named Newport 2015 Business of the Year!

River Metals Recycling (RMR) Newport is honored to announce it was named 2015 Business of the Year at the February 24, 2016 Newport Business Association awards ceremony. The Newport facility was recognized for their significant contributions to the community, including working with the Fire and Police Departments for emergency response training, donations to the city and park system, and volunteer efforts. RMR was chosen over 400 other local businesses.

River Metals Recycling is the largest scrap recycler in Kentucky and in the greater Cincinnati area, with nine locations in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. RMR is headquartered in Crescent Springs, Kentucky, and has nearly 250 teammates. River Metals Recycling’s Newport facility specializes in scrap recycling services for households, tradesmen and businesses, and buys ferrous scrap as well as common household nonferrous scrap metal items like aluminum cans and other aluminum, stainless steel, copper and brass products.
